From the very start of every client relation Arts Cleeren & Vennoten deems it of the greatest importance to agree upon a clear and transparent method of invoicing fees and costs for its services.
In principal our fees are calculated on the basis of an agreed hourly fee and the amount of time spent on a certain case. Hourly fees take in to account the nature and complexity of the case, the degree of specialisation and experience of the involved lawyers. Other factors that may influence the hourly fee are the degree of urgency and the obtained result.
Arts Cleeren en Vennoten is always willing to negotiate on individual fee agreements: fixed fees per case, a fee in function of the result, ...
A fixed percentage of 30% of the hours performed are invoiced to cover office and secretarial costs.
Specific costs related to the a nature of the case, such as court fees, bailiff's fees, travelling expenses are invoiced separately.
